Dubai – Mubasher: The Dubai Financial Market’s (DFM) general index grew 0.09% or 16.23 points to close at 2,757.73 points in the week ended Thursday, 18 October.
Around 1.026 billion shares were traded during the week, generating AED 964.932 million in turnover.
The telecom sector grew 0.41% boosted by du, which saw a similar rise.
The banks sector fell 1.22% after Emirates NBD plunged 2.7%.
The real estate sector jumped 2.25% after Arabtec, Emaar Development, and Emaar properties rose 3.9%, 2.13% and 1.84%, respectively.
The transportation sector was up by 0.75%, while the investment sector increased by 4.56%.
